Lizarmen: SLANN II

Hello people!

More updates on Slann, well on the base, I've made a stone throne with stargate behind the wizard, using the ancestral parts of stegadon.

Well an image is better than words, isn't it?

I've used modelling stones glued with Loctite. I've put two columns at both sides of the throne and I'll put something  about lizarmen.

I¡ve painted the portal with freehand, I think that it's acceptable, I like it and I think that will be a precious center piece of my army.

Well, see you soon! On the next post, the Slann will be ended.

Lizarmen: SLANN I

Hello fellas!

I know I told you that I was going to post the end of the Skink unit, but Slann come to my hands and I couldn't resist the temptation to paint it, hahaha!

This miniature will be the central piece of m army, so my intention is to paint it the best I can and I hope that it will be enough ;)

First of all, I've removed the burrs on the model, it's a metal model, so I used a modeling scalpel carefully because it's dangerous and it cuts a lot.

After that, I've primed the model with withe primer for airbrush (Vallejo primer premium or something like that). Then I applied the first layer of blue, dark blue, and after that always with airbrush, I applied the following layers adding withe to the mixture as far as you want the top light of the model.

After that, I clean the table and the airbrush and I've started to paint the details, the gold, some more lights on the face to create more contrast with the shadows.

I've painted de pustules and the pimples like that, like something disgusting, he is an ancient wizard, he doesn't care about his aspect. I've added some dark color to the shadows.

Well that's all, on the next post I'll show you the model ended and the base, I have an idea and I hope you will like it.

See you soon!

Lizarmen: SKINKS I

Hi to everyone!

I'm sorry, I was out during 5 months but, I've been working and I hadn't got time to post anything on the blog.

Well, I've changed the subject (enough space marines for a while), now I'm painting Warhammer Fantasy and I want to show you how I'm going on this project, I want reach 2500 points of a lizarmen army and I've started for the basics! One unit of skinks!

Here you are, I'm trying to recreate a scene on every miniature of the army, every unit will be a different scene, but every one of them together when the army it's done will recreate a Lustrian army getting out of the jungle:

The pictures:

Every one of the skinks has one euro penny and the base is magnetized, making the army transport easy!

The water on the bases and the movement tray is Vallejo water effects, it dries in 3 days and get totally transparent creating an excellent water effect.

The Vallejo water:

On the next post I'll show you the unit totally ended, with the shields and the water completely clear. Next project of the army is a Slann and I have a great idea for him!

See you soon!

World Eaters: Cataphractii Pattern Terminators II

Hello folks!

Here it is, the sergeant finished :), I'll not explain everything I've did :P.

You can see the pictures, I've undercoated the base with chaos black, dry brush with grey and then I've added the weathering powders.

The space marine helmet is from one Son of the Emperor, I've painted the blood and then covered with gloss barnish to create the wet effect of the blood.

See you soon!

World Eaters: Cataphractii Pattern Terminators I

Hello my friends!

I present to all of you my first chataphractii terminator, he is the unit sergeant! He has an assault bolter an energy sword!

First of all, I've undercoated it with chaos black, and then using the airbrush I've painted all the white on the model to shade it. After that, I've painted
the bronze details of the armor and the leather roman legionnaire skirt with brown.

How you can see, I've painted it all separatelly, the arms, the chest, legs and face, and after all the painting, I'll glued all.

To paint the sword, I used airbush only, from dark red to orange in a middle of the sword and on the other part conversely, to achieve an aproach to NMM, it was my first attempt to do a NMM, please don't be cruel ;)

The base is simple, cork, GW sand, tangle-wire and one MKIII helmet. I'll paint this helmet like an emperor son, I hate those guys!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures, see you soon with this guy finished.

I'll paint the next 4 terminators in serial work, I've painted the sergeant on the first place, because I was trying things and to know the best method to paint it.

See you soon!

World Eaters: Contemptor

Hello folks!

Here it is! My first World Eater contemptor dreadnought. I like this model, more than the new one, I think that the contemptor is more dinamic compared to the present model.

First of all, I had a lot of job cleaning the burrs, I'm sorry to say that but this model from Forgeworld comes with a lot of them... almost 50 pounds and I had to spend
a lot of time embellishing the model to paint it...

I undercoated with black, and then an airbrushed painting of white scale, from grey to pure white to achieve the degraded from black.

I did the same with blue, dark blue at the first layer and then I added white to the mixture until I had the brightness color that I was looking for.

After all of airbrush, some brush touches, the helmet, the imperial aquila and some battle damage.

At the end, the base, with tangled wire and some rocks, and the weathering powder!

I hope you have enjoyed my work, next unit, 5 catapracht terminators with assault bolters and energy axes ;) they'll be the unit of Angron!!

See you soon!

World Eaters: Loyalist Kharn III finished

Hello folks, I'm back!

My last post was 3 months ago, I haven't had time to paint or do something related with Warhammer and I have to say that I've missed it a lot!

Well, I show to all of you my Loyalist Kharn finished, at last! I've only added the base and the weathering powders over the foot and his legs!

I like this model, it's my first conversion and it won't be the last one! I have some ideeas in my mind to create Skraal another World Eater captain.

Enjoy the pictures!

See you soon with one Contemptor! I think that it will be finished tomorrow!
